Cooke's cal-SPOT 401 Calibrated Precision Spotmeter is ergonomically designed with emphasis on user-friendliness and accurate measurements traceable to NIST standards. Designed to be used with both eyes open, and no magnification, the cal-SPOT401 measures from 8" to infinity, producing a 1 degree measuring spot. Brightness is measured from 0.1 to 400,000 cdm/m**2. It has a high stability silicon photodiode sensor with human eye response correction. Whether it is needed for road illumination studies, CRT or light source measurements or anywhere luminance measurements are required, the cal-SPOT 401 will provide accurate readings. It comes complete with a carrying case, battery and calibration certificate.
