Mechanical interlock devices are electrical receptacles that allow compatible plugs to be attached only when the power is turned off. They also prevent the plug from being removed from the receptacle while the power is on.
- SAFETY - Mechanically interlocked receptacle prevents connecting or disconnecting plugs under load
- COMPLIANCE - OSHA Lockout/Tagout capable. The handle can accept up to a 5/16” padlock shaft
- COLOR-CODED - Receptacle covers are color-coded by voltage in accordance with IEC 60309 standards
Walther’s Mechanical Interlocks are manufactured with a free-floating grounding plate. Our unique method of grounding allows for conduit entry from the top, bottom or side.
