The Kempton GT 12a speaker features a lightweight,yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet.
The asymmetrical shape of the Kempton GT12a cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor. The Kempton GT12a is a two-way speaker incorporating a FBT 12” low frequency woofer and a 1.4” High frequency driver coupled to a 80°H x 50°V horn. With a frequency range of 50Hz- 20kHz, the Kempton GT12a provides hi fidelity sound for both speech and music applications.
The Bi amplified Kempton GT 12a active speaker features a 200w RMS Class AB low frequency amp, and a 50 w RMS Class AB high frequency amp delivering 500w program power.
The unique control panel features TWO Input Channels, each with a volume control, preamp gain control, 2 band EQ with + - 12dB of cut/boost @ 80Hz LF, + - 12 db cut/ boost @10kHz, a balanced input combo jack (female XLR, ¼” TRS, ¼”),balanced XLR link output jack, LED power on indicator.
